This was the "Shark Tank" meeting - where staff members pitch the details (including price) of additional projects that the District can choose to fund with remaining LCAP funds.  The variety of staff ideas spanned from added professional development for special education teachers to fixing the most compromised rooves on select portable classrooms.  Ideas were also solicited from the Commitee and other community members who were present.  It was not only informative, but genuinely enjoyable to hear parents' passions, experiences, and recommendations for how to best support their families.  These essential meetings help me as a Board member know the community's financial priorities so I can faithfully represent!
