Today I joined BGTK-6 and for their monthly Family Literacy Friday.  The highlights included a pre-CAASP parade to celebrate students and highlight the importance of state testing, a District-sponsored "book exchange" in English and Spanish, and the beautiful sight of many families prioritizing literacy as they visited the school to read a book with their child(ren).  What a treasure it is to partner with families in their child's success!
