This evening the Board will be updating two key policies on special education with vast updates, Board Policies 6159.1 & 6159.2, respectively "Procedural Safeguards and Complaints For Special Education" and "Nonpublic, Nonsectarian School and Agency Services for Special Education."  I hear often from stakeholders that special education is a continuing concern, so I ask any who have insight into these changes to come speak to the board at our 5:30PM meeting.
