Today's topics included HR, especially hiring and evaluating a superintendent, as well as hiring and evaluation procedures for other employees.  Additionally, we discussed in detail the process of collective bargaining and the importance of being forthright with our partners in education.  We finished with a hopeful and encouraging conversation across political lines about how important it is to value and hear out our stakeholders with respect, patience, and a genuine attitude of interest.
